Afy Okoye is an experienced writer, editor, and researcher focusing on policy, scientific manuscripts, and digital media. Her expertise includes conducting developmental edits on humanities, social science, and medical science manuscripts written by English-as-a-second-language academics for submission in peer-reviewed journals. Prior to obtaining a graduate degree, Afy worked as an Analyst for US employer-sponsored health plan operations. She has been published in Paste Magazine, Kaplan, EdCircuit, Sun Chronicle, and Ad Libitum. In addition, she was the recipient of the National Parks Service Expression of Freedom poetry award.
Afy received dual Bachelor of Art degrees in Journalism and Political Science from Georgia State University, and a Masters of Science in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics.
