Erica Jacques, OT, is a former writer for Verywell Mind covering pain management. She's an occupational therapist at Florida Hospital, and has practiced occupational therapy for over a decade. Erica attended Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. Following graduation, she returned to her home in Florida where she continues to work today.
Since her graduation, Erica has participated in specialty training in hand and shoulder therapy, manual therapy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord rehabilitation and therapeutic yoga.
