Throughout her career, Jen Zeltwanger has worked in a wide variety of fitness related roles that have allowed her opportunities to work with countless products including running shoes, weights, kettlebells, home cardio equipment, yoga mats, fitness clothing, water bottles and much more. She publishes a website dedicated to home exercise and has contributed articles to magazines such as Sass Magazine and Field Hockey Life Magazine.
Jen has trained private clients online and in-person, taught physical education for kindergarten through college and contributed to writing textbooks and teaching materials for a personal trainer certification program. When Jen is not writing, she’s running, lifting or coaching youth sports that her kids are involved in.
My favorite purchase is definitely my ProForm treadmill. It’s an older model and I’ve had it for a while but it’s been a workhorse. As a busy mom, being able to run outside isn’t always possible and running helps me feel grounded so my treadmill allows me to get a workout in no matter what. It has inspired my daughters to begin running and they use it almost as much as I do. The ProForm has easy to use button controls and I can preset work and rest intervals for a HIIT workout so I don’t have to adjust the speed while trying not to fall off. I can connect my phone or iPad to watch videos or stream shows. My workouts are the only times I have to catch up on YouTube channels I follow! The ProForm is also pretty quiet. It’s in a room next to my son’s room and he says he never hears it when I’m running early in the morning. I have a variety of fitness equipment in my home gym but my treadmill is by far the best fitness purchase I’ve made.
Jen received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury State University and is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
