Karen Cilli is a Fact Checker on Verywell Fit, Family, and Mind. She has 31 years of professional experience, 21 teaching world languages, and 12 as a librarian. She spent time as a medical librarian at West Penn Hospital and Jameson Memorial Hospital, responsible for all aspects of library management, research, and reference.


Karen received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in French Language and Literature and Spanish Language and Culture as well as a Master of Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Slippery Rock University.
