As a commentator, Shanon has appeared on national and international live-stream and network television programs including HuffPost Live, TRT World’s The NewsMakers, TV One’s For My Woman and the REELZ Channel’s Scandal Made Me Famous.

Shanon is a Women's Media Center SheSource Expert and a mentor-editor for The OpEd Project. She was named to The Tempest’s 40 Women To Watch 2019 list for advancing the dialogue around gender-based violence. She is represented by Agnes Carlowicz of the Carol Mann Agency.

Education

Shanon received her Bachelor's Degree in Human & Social Services Administration from Bellevue University and is a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling candidate at Walden University.
